Patients are more likely to book with a clinic when they know who will be treating them. Staff profiles are a Pro plan feature that lets you introduce your dentists and team members on your public clinic profile — with names, roles, bios, and photos. It is one of the highest-trust signals a dental clinic can display.
Why Staff Profiles Work
Dentistry is a high-trust service. Patients are letting someone work inside their mouth, often after being anxious about it. Seeing a real face, a name, credentials, and a short bio reduces that anxiety significantly. Clinics with staff profiles consistently see higher engagement on profile visits than those without.
Adding a Staff Member
Go to the Staff section of your clinic dashboard and click "Add Staff Member." Fill in the following fields:
- Full name — as you want it to appear publicly.
- Role or title — e.g. General Dentist, Orthodontist, Dental Hygienist, Oral Surgeon, Clinic Manager.
- Bio — 2 to 4 sentences covering credentials, years of experience, and specialization.
- Profile photo — optional but strongly recommended.
How It Appears on Your Profile
Team members are displayed in an "Our Team" tab on your public clinic profile page. Each member appears as a card with their photo (or initials if no photo is uploaded), name, role, and bio. The tab is only visible if you have at least one staff member added and are on the Pro plan.
What to Write in the Bio
The bio is your chance to turn a credential list into a human story. Compare:
- Weak: "Dr. Santos has a DMD from UST and 5 years of experience."
- Strong: "Dr. Santos graduated from UST College of Dentistry and has been serving Quezon City families for over 5 years. She specializes in cosmetic dentistry and makes anxious patients feel at ease with her calm, thorough approach."
The second version answers the patient's real question: "Will I be comfortable with this person?" That is what drives bookings.
Photo Tips
- Use a professional headshot — clinic scrubs or a white coat work well.
- Plain or neutral background is best.
- Good lighting, looking directly at the camera.
- Avoid using cropped group photos — they look unprofessional at small sizes.
Include PRC license numbers or post-graduate specializations (e.g. Fellow of the Philippine College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons) in the bio for high-value procedures like implants or orthodontics. This level of transparency significantly increases patient confidence for treatments over ₱10,000.
